Description
Hydraulic controller for Haldex transmission unit used in VAG Mk4 cars.
Simple and reliable solution for Racing and special build cars where original CAN-bus wiring is not used
Difference between MHR / MHRB
MHR is switched on or off by a switch to an electrical pump – But this only works before starting the car, If you need to disconnect while driving it is impossible by switch because the system is under pressure and looses rear drive very slowly (after a few KM)
If you want the ability to toggle the rear axle off and on again quickly, you must use MHRB, which features a hydraulic valve, that enables a quick build up and release of pressure inside the system, this can be disconnected by the handbrake or the pedal sensor .
