The VAG VR6 and R32 platforms (engine codes AAA, AES, AFP, BDB, BFH, BMJ, BUB and friends) are some of the most iconic VW Group engines — the narrow-angle six behind the Golf VR6 Mk2/Mk3, Corrado VR6, Golf R32 Mk4 / Mk5, Audi TT 3.2 and Touareg V6. Built right, they’re capable of huge power and have earned a cult following for their character and their tuning headroom.
