Block Strengthening

Pro-Race Engineering supplies block strengthening hardware for high-power and high-RPM engine builds — the parts that keep your bottom end together when cylinder pressure climbs. The range covers Girdle Kits, billet Main caps (including PRE in-house tool steel tall billet caps), Block Guards for open-deck engines, supporting main stud kits and machine work via our in-house workshop.

Block reinforcement is the difference between an engine that lives at 800hp+ and one that walks its main caps or splits a block. PRE’s tried-and-tested methods are used on cars achieving speeds in excess of 300mph and quarter-mile passes in under 7 seconds — the reinforcement spec at those power levels is what supports them.
