A hybrid turbo is an OEM-housing turbocharger uprated with a larger compressor wheel, billet wheel, or modified turbine — keeping factory plug-and-play fitment while unlocking a meaningful step up in airflow and peak power. Pro-Race Engineering supplies UK-built hybrid turbo upgrades for the most popular platforms we work on: VAG 1.8T 20v, 2.0 TFSI EA113, EA888 Gen 1/2/3, Mini Cooper S R53 W11 and more.
We’ll guide you on the right hybrid for your target power, supporting mods (fuelling, headers, intercooler) and fuel choice.
