Built Engine and Head Packages
Pro-Race Engineering’s Built Engine and Head Packages are complete assembled units — PRE-spec short blocks, complete tall blocks, assembled cylinder heads and full race engines, built to a target power and combination by our team at the Maldon workshop. Each unit is built around forged internals (rods, pistons, fasteners), specced bearings and gaskets, machined to motorsport tolerance and ready to install or finish at the customer end.
PRE’s tried-and-tested methods are used on cars achieving speeds in excess of 300mph and quarter-mile passes in under 7 seconds — the same engineering team and machine shop builds the packages listed here. Current platforms include VAG 1.8T, 2.0 TFSI EA113 / EA888, VR6 / R32, Honda K20 / K24, Audi RS5 4.2 V8 and others.
