The cam chain and tensioner is not a serviceable item listed by Volkswagen & Audi which is a huge oversight as this part that can wear which can cause loud rattling on the right side of the engine. If the tensioner or chain gives way then it will have a detrimental effect of the rest of the engine, and in most cases will require a full engine rebuild.
