PRE Connecting Rods

Pro-Race Engineering connecting rods are designed and built in the UK to take serious abuse. PRE steel connecting rods have been proven to over 1,000hp in 4-cylinder applications, and we’ve partnered with racers running PRE 4-cylinder internals to sub-7-second 1/4-mile passes at speeds approaching 200mph.

The latest Gen2 rods are lighter than the original PRE design, use proven I-beam and H-beam construction with rifle-drilled small-end pin oiling, and ship with ARP 2000 bolts as standard (ARP625 Custom Age available as an upgrade for extreme-RPM and high-cylinder-pressure builds). The range covers Honda K20 and K24 (139×22 and 152×22), Honda B-series, VAG 1.8T and 2.0 TFSI (144×20 and 144×22), VR5 (164×20) and EA111 1.6 GTI (138×17) applications.
