Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation, meaning it is much smoother in operation and has no wear items. This means the Diff is a fit and forget part, no rebuild is required for the life of the differential
