These are a popular conversion on the VW Golf Mk4 Platform with 1.8T and 1.9 TDI Engines to remove the OEM Dual Mass Flywheel, when either running increased power or the DMF fails
You have the option of the Standard weight 10kg flywheel or the lightened 7kg Flywheel
These Flywheels are manufactured in the UK
We recommend the 10kg flywheel for road car applications as this is a similar weight to the dual mass flywheel so driving characteristics remain unchanged.
The 7kg flywheel is more suited to race and fast road petrol applications as where faster reving and more engine breaking is required.
These flywheels do not have a timing mark, We recommend removing your old flywheel aligning the bolt holes on both flywheels and transferring the mark to the new one.
Please note in some cases the dust tin may need slight modification with the 10kg flywheel
