When increased fuel delivery is needed but a fuel cell can’t be accommodated, surge tanks with submerged Bosch 044 pump can meet the criteria. By housing the 044-type pump in more than 75% of the tank, it was able to provide a solution to several common problems. Firstly, the fuel itself actually muffles the noise of the larger pump while cooling the pump for greater reliability. The tank features a machined front cover plate that accepts the pump with an O-ring seal. It also provides three -6 O-ring inputs/outputs for your plumbing.
